| dc.description | The aim of this study was to find out the speech acts used in the entertaining program on television as one of the purpose of the use of the language. Speech acts are all the utterances uttered by the speakers in order to know the purpose of the speakers by its actions. This study applied descriptive qualitative method. The data are all the utterances uttered by the participants in that program. The result show that there are 4 typess of speech acts used by the participants. They are directive act, assertive act, expressive act, and also commisives act.The dominant type of speech act used by the participants is assertive act. And the reason for using this dominant type refers to an effort to show the truth. The speaker is trying to show that what the speaker uttered is as an effort to show or to declare the truth and still to entertain people. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan tindak tutur yang digunakan pada sebuah program televisi yang menghibur sebagai salah satu tujuan penggunaan bahasa.Tindak tutur merupakan segala ungkapan yang diutarakan oleh penutur dengan tujuan mengetahui tutur bahasa atau maksud si penutur dengan tindak tuturnya. Dengan kata lain untuk mengetahui apa yang seseorang maksudkan dengan suatu tindak tutur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa ujaran yang direkam oleh peneliti. Hasil yang dipeoleh berupa jenis tindak tutur yang sering digunakan, jenis tindak tutur yang paling dominan dan alasan penggunaan tindak tutur yang dominan tersebut. Diperoleh bahwa ada empat tindak tutur yang digunakan yaitu : directive act, assertive act, expressive act, dan juga commisives act. Tindak tutur yang paling dominan adalah assertive act. Alasan penggunaan jenis tindak tutur tersebut secara dominan adalah merujuk pada sebuah usaha untuk menunjukkan kebenaran. Pembicara berusaha menunjukkan bahwa apa yang diungkapkan adalah sebuah usaha untuk menunjukkan (declaring) kebenaran dengan tetap bersifat menghibur. | en_US |
