Aronson (2005), the original developer of Jigsaw, showed greater academic improvement than other students, and tend to have a positive impact on academic achievement.
AIm

The samples were student who attended the Block, devided into 2 groups by simpel randomized sampling method, 25 student experimental group (Jigsaw group) and 25 student in non experimental (non Jigswa). Jigsaw group subdivided into 5 groups with different topics as Home Group, and then one person of each group was combined in a new group as the Expert Group that discussed all the topics of the previous group. After the experiment, the student were tested in the middle block exam given a list of questions (questionnares) of motivation of the given method.
Result
The value of the middle block exam from the students in Jigsaw group was higher than the non-Jigsaw model (p value<0,05). For the students motivation gained as much as 38,8% undecided, 25,5% agree, and 24,2% disagree with the Jigsaw model study.
