    Abstract
This thesis is written to achieve some objectives, namely to find out the kinds of errors made by the students in producing phonemes sequencing and to find out the dominant errors made by the students in producing them. The method which is used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The research was carried out at HKBP Nommensen University, on June 8th , 2015. The sample of the research is students of fourth semester in group A which consists of 20 students. To get the data, the writer uses a documentation as the instrument. From the computation of errors, there are 125 errors which were made by the students in producing phonemes sequencing and they’re classified into three types. They are segmental errors (72 and the percentage is 57.6%), combinatorial errors (38 and the percentage is 30.4%) and the last is suprasegmental errors (15 and the percentage is 12%). From the three types of error, segmental errors have the highest number of errors.
