dc.description.abstract | Along three (3) decades the life of christian’ worship dominated by various forms of worship that are known as contemporary worship. This type of worship has becomes a worship that is so liked by many Christian more than traditional churches type of worship.
This study aims to shed light critical analyses on motif, sources and the purpose of contemporary worship based on practical theology perspective. This study also uses interdisciplinary perspective to look at the historicity of rites and symbols in religion.
The study discovers that on practical theology perspective worship root on confession of faith-theology. Awe is the motif of Worship, not strategy and no more worthy purpose than the proclamation, praise, and adoration of God. | en_US |
