| dc.description.abstract | Critical Discourse Analysis is a part of Discourse Analysis. This study is aimed to explore how critical discourse analysis is realized in Indonesian tv’s running text. In writing this paper, the study of linguistics by applying description Qualitative method is applied by the writer. The theory of CDA applied is by Fairclough that discussed three dimensions of analysis, such as micro analysis, macro analysis and meso analysis. The data from 3 station tv in Indonesia between Juli-Agustus 2021, they are Tv One, Metro Tv, and Kompas Tv. Findings are in micro analysis includes language use such as the realization of naming individual, passive voice, and collective noun, in macro-analysis shows that the running text interpretation to informed the viewer the current condition while viewers watch another program tv, and in meso analysis are the running text identity as a Information Bestower. These findings shows that the Indonesian tv’s running text have a big role to delivering information or as a information bestower. | en_US |
