dc.description.abstractWriting is one of skill which is difficult to master. This study aimed to find out using roundtable strategy to enhanche students writing skill in narrative of tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 6 Medan. This research by using classroom action research. The subject of this reserach was 20 students. This researcher was two cycle conducted there are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Based on the result of this reserach showed that there was a development on the students writing , it can be seen from the mean score of pre-test was 67,35 and the percentage is 10% and the mean score of post-test I was 71,35 and the percentage was 60 % and then the mean score of post-test II was 79,65 and the percentage was 95%. It means after using roundtable strategy the score of the students was highest than before it. Finally the reserach of this study showed that the implementation of using roundtable strategy to teach writing skill could improve students writing skill in narrative text that was indicated by their improvement of each test result.en_US
