    Abstract
    This research aims to find the type of euphemism and type of irony in Yowis Ben movie script. This research is use qualitative descriptive study. The data were analyzed according to Keith Allan & Kate Burridge (1991:14) were found percentage on the data they were : Metaphor -,Idiom (8.51%), Circumulation (4.20%), Acronym (4.20%), General for Specific (17.02%), Hyperbole (12.64%), Litotes (8.51%), Technical Jargon (12.64%), Denial (17.02%), Dyspemism (6.38%) , Metonym (2.32%), Synechdoch (2.32%), Associative Engineering (4.25%). there is types of irony according to Sperber and Wilson (1981:3140 ) were found percentage on the data : Conditional Irony (33.33%) , Verbal Irony (22.22%), Dramatical Irony (44.44%). And this finding in Yowis Ben movie script is shows that the movie use types euphemism and irony.
