dc.description.abstract | The objective of this thesis is to find out the extend of Christian Education Action in a church and a school can be sucessful to enlight the congregation based on Paulo Freirenian consientization of christian education model.
Christian Religion Educatian is one of the church services on the field of teaching and education. The practice of service on teaching and education is the ministry of Jesus Christ in the New Testamen as in Mathew 28:19-20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the on, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching the to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
Why is a teaching method needed in Christan Education to teach the Words of God at school and chruch? The reason is that Jesus Christ, during His servise, did not only preach, but he also taught in the synagogue, in the houses of people, before the crowd, at the sea shore, on the hill, but he also did the teaching even on the cross dialogically by using parabels as a method of teaching. In congruent with the method used by Jesus Christ, the church must be in a conciousness to do the mission of Christian Education.
The writer thinks that in order to reform human through christian education and the development of the congregation, so christian education necessarily uses Paulo Freireanian consientization on christian education teaching model at schools and churches.
At last the church will reach the objective of christian educatian to empower the congregation as said in the Ephesians 4: 16 “From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplith, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edufying of itself in love” | en_US |
