dc.description.abstractThis thesis focused on finding out the effect of Jigsaw Method on Writing Recount Text of The First Grade Students Year 2019/2020 At Sma Negeri 1 Dolok Panribuan. This research was conducted in First Grade Students of Sma Negeri 1 Dolok Panribuan. They consist 20 students. The instrument of collecting data was writing test. The research design was experimental quantitative research. Experimental quantitative method is method of research used to find the effect of a particular treatment against the other under controlled conditions. The writer used theory of Miftaful Huda (2012: 118). Jigsaw is the model of teaching learning where the students are set up in teams; each team member is responsible for mastering part of the learning material and teaching that part to the other team members. The result of the research, the score were not really different, because was 41,3 and was 25,1. It meant that there wasn’t a significant different between both classes. From the score it could be concluded that Jigsaw method was significantly affected to the students’ writing because when the writer had applied the treatment some of the students could writing well.en_US
