dc.description.abstractThis study attempts to discuss about students’ error in use preposition in writing descriptive text at the tenth grade SMK N 5 Medan. The sample of the study was the tenth grade students of SMK N 5 Medan. The researcher took 7 students in getting the data. The study used descriptive text qualitative, a case study. Finally, the result of the study shows there are three types of error found in writing descriptive text, are Omission, Misformation, and Misordering. The researches calculates the data with: the dominant type of error is misformstion with 29 errors. The second is error of omission with 7 error, the last is error misordering with 1 error.en_US
