    Errors Analysis of English Voiceless Plosive Consonants [P],[T],[K] Pronounced By The Forth Class Students Of SD Negeri Baturongkam.

    Abstract
    The objective of this study was find out certain kind of plosive sounds in which the students mostly make mistake in pronunciation. This research was conducted by using Descriptive Qualitative design. The source of data was sounds of plosive consonants word were taken from oxford dictionary. As an obejct the researcher chosen from students of the fourth class students of SD Negeri Baturongkam school. Which consisted of 25 students. This research was done two meetings. Based on analysis of sounds recorded by the students. There were two types of errors that students did in pronounced the words in plosive consonants [p],[t],[k]. namely pre- systematic and post-systematic errors. The dominant error’s type made by students was pre-systematic errors. The frequency of the English plosive consonant [p] pronounced by the whole students was 225; while the number of errors occurred was 134. It means that they made 59.5% of errors. In English plosive consonant [t] there were 200 occurrences pronounced by the whole students; and 130 times of errors occurrences, the percentage of the errors was 65%. Then, in the English plosive consonant [k] there were 225 occurrences pronounced by the whole students; and 136 times of errors occurrences, the percentage was 60.4%.from the computation that the mean or proportion of the errors made by the 25 students in pronouncing the whole English plosive consonants [p], [t], and [k] was 62%. The result shows that the fourth class students of SD Negeri Baturongkam are fair in pronouncing plosive consonant [p], [t], and [k].
