dc.description.abstractThis study is about The Effect of Using Communicative Language Teaching Method toward Student’s Grammar Ability. This study tried to answer this problem: “does the use of Communicative Language Teaching Method affect on student’s grammar abilityfor eighth-grade students in Sialang Buah village?”. The objective of the study is to find out whether the Communicative Language Teaching method affect on student’s grammar abilityfor eighth-grade students in Sialang Buah village. This study used experimental quantitative research design which have two group.The first group as control group and the other one as experimental group.The sample of this study was the eight grade students in Sialang Buah village. The mean score of the control group range from the pre-test was 60,5 and from the post-test was 74. And for the experimental group the mean score from the pre-test was 63 and from the post-test was 82,5. Thus, Communicative Language Teaching Method can be used as one of the alternatives to teaching English, especially for teaching grammar.en_US
