dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to see how the role of the teachers of Christian religious education towards the correct understanding of prayer in students in class XI private high school FKIP UHN Pematangsiantar. Data analysis conducted in hypothesis research is Pearson product moment correlation with data collection tools is a questionnaire for Variable X (Role of Christian Religious Education Teachers) and Y Variables (Correct Understanding of Prayers in Students). To find out about the role of the Christian Religious Education Teachers towards the Correct Understanding of Prayer in Students, the Pearson Product Moment Product Correlation Statistical Test was used. From the test results obtained by testing the correlation (r) 0.6410 with a determination test of 41.08% and to find out whether or not the correlation coefficient is significant at the real level (α) = 0.05, the "t" test is carried out with the test criteria if the tcount obtained from the calculation is greater (>) from t table at a significant level of 1 - 0.05 with dk = n - 2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases rejected. From the test results obtained tcount> ttable (7.45> 1.67), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus it can be said that there is a significant influence between the role of the teacher of Christian religious education towards the development of a correct understanding of prayer in students, in class XI private high school FKIP UHN Pematangsiantar.en_US
