But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Luke 18:15-16). God expects the Church to have children educated in the knowledge of His Word as we find at Deutereonomy 6:4-7,; “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up“. To find out how far the teaching topics of the Sunday School Teacher‟s HKBP teaches on the growth chrildren of faith at the HKBP Petra Pematangsiantar 2019. The method used in this study with qualitative research, konprehensip, collection of observation data, interviews to know how the congregation response and how in the Sunday School Teaching Handbook of HKBP 2019 relevant to building the growth of children's faith. Thus it can be seen that there is a relationship of teaching curriculums of Sunday School HKBP to the growth of faith of Sunday School HKBP Petra Pematangsiantar. | en_US |
