The aims of study were to determine the effect of silage leaves and corn stem as a substitute for grass field against local ewe performance. The research used a completely randomized design with five non-factorial treatment and each treatment was repeated three time. Performance data ewes local such as: dry matter intake, body weigh gain and feed convertion ratio were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. The result showed that the dry matter intake and average daily gain of local ewe showed improvement in the treatment silage leaves and corn stem until seventy five percent and decrease in the treatment one hundred percent. But feed conversion ratio showed decrease but increase in the treatment silage leaves and corn stem until onr hundred percent. Statistical test sowed there were no significant differences of ewe performance.en_US
