Abstract

The purpose of this observation is to observe the character of phenotype and character of genotype from Mirah Chicken. The main target is to get the pure Mirah Chicken. The methods that be do are: phase 1 : to look for and carry the chicken sample from the far village, the consist of 40 adult chicken (male and female). The animal sampel observed the variant of phenotype and its character. Phase 2 : Male and female are breeded interse to get the 1st filial (f1). First Filial (f1) are observed the variant phenotype and the character. Then, the first filial male and female are breeded interse, to get the 2nd (Second filial). Producing chicken that have a constant character, is the final of the observation. The result is: There are two groups of female Mirah Chicken based from the different plumage color. Mirah Chicken will act like the chicken commonly if combined with the other chicken, but will act specially if just with their group.
