dc.description.abstractQuestion in the research, that (1) how abstraction profile of student having cognitive style of field independent in mathematics problem solving? (2) how abstraction profile of student having cognitive style of field dependent in mathematics problem solving.This research type is qualitative research. Research subject, that is a student having cognitive style of field independent and a student having cognitive style of field dependent. Research data in the form of result of problem solving duty and result of interview transcript. Based on question of research of hence data is analysed by using qualitative data analytical method. Result of analysis indicates that abstraction profile of student having cognitive style of field independent are different from abstraction profile of student having cognitive style of field dependent in mathematics problem solving.en_US
