dc.description.abstractThe Nickel plating process is used extensively for decorative, engineering and electroforming purpose because the appearance and other properties of electrodeposited of Nickel can be varied over wide ranges by controlling operating parameters. Electroplating is one methode to deposited Nickel at the surface of Low Carbon Steel for corrosion protection and decorative purpose. Research on the electroplating process with 4 Amperre, 6 Amperre, 8 Amperre and 10 Amperre variation of Direct Current. From the Electroplating parameters, it’s found that 10 Amperre and 12 Volt of Direct Current gives protection to the surface of Low Carbon Steels with 4,920μm deposited Nickel and 0,0098 mpy corrosion rate.en_US
