    Abstract
    This paper discuss the interregional development inequality in East Coast, West Coast, and Plateau region of North Sumatra. According to the statistical data per capita of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at 2000 constant price and the number of people, and using the regional disparity index which formulated by Jeffry Williamson, are known the development inequality for each regions in 2000-2010. Degree of development inequality towards increasing, except for the Plateau region. Development inequality is worst in North Sumatra Province compare to east Coast or West and Plateau regions. Thus, disparity of income distribution in Plateau region is lower than West Coast or East Coast, or North Sumatra overall.
