dc.description.abstractThis thesis is written to achieve some objective, namely to find out the dominant errors made by the students in Speaking. The method which is used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The research carried out at SMA Mardi Lestari Medan, on July 26th, 2019. The sample of research is students of the eleven grade consists of 20 students, to get the data, the writer used a documentation as the instrument. From the complutation of errors, there are 20 errors which were made by the students in speaking in front of the class and they’re classified into nine types. They are silent pause 3 error, filled pause 3 error, repeats 3 error, un retraced false stars 3 error, retraced false starts 3 errors, corrections 3 errors, interjections 3 errors, stutters 3 errors and slip of the tongue 3 error. From the nine types of error, stutters errors have the highest numbers of errors.en_US
