dc.description | The purpose of this explorative study was to find out the characteristics of students’
metacognition of guardian, rational, artisan and idealist types in dealing with mathematical problems.
Four Year-11 subjects of a senior high school were involved in the study, one representing guardian type,
one rational type, one artisan type, and one idealist type. The results showed that various characteristic
types of students’ metacognition in guardian, rational, artisan and idealist were differently utilized in

dc.description.abstract | Artikel hasil penelitian ini memaparkan karakteristik metakognisi siswa dalam
memecahkan permasalahan matematika berdasarkan empat tipe kepribadian, yaitu guardian, rational,
artisan, dan idealist. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif eksploratif, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri
atas satu siswa untuk setiap tipe kepribadian, yaitu siswa kelas sebelas SMA. Hasil penelitian mengungkap
