dc.description.abstractThis study focuses on a verification using computer simulation of the test of helmet industry made of GFRP polymer composite with high speed load impact. The helmet was made from the combination of polyester resin157 BQTN EX and a two-layer E-Glass fiber of Chop Strand Mat type.The helmet model will be made according to original dimension by using Autocad software while the distribution of the stress occurs on the helmet was analyzed using MSC NASTRAN 4.5 software. The data needed for the simulation were obtained through several tests such as measuring the mass type of the helmet, statistical test to obtain the mechanical characteristic of the helmet (using servopulser testing device).en_US
