dc.description.abstract | Sun is needed now because it is easily obtained and is available for free. Drying technology by utilizing solar heat on some agricultural commodities is needed so that quality can be improved. AsamGelugur as a producer of citric acid which is useful for human health can be obtained well through a good drying process. The most suitable drying treatment for Gelugur Acid is by using a drying box where heat sources are obtained from solar collectors sourced from the sun. One element of the gelugur acid content is Citric Acid which is useful for human health. It was found that the thickness of the 3mm Gelugur acid fruit slices could dry for 9.5 hours with good weather conditions. The heat temperature in a constant 40°C drying box could eliminate the water content by 58.14% with initial weight before drying 2.72 kg. | en_US |
