THE USE VOICETHREAD AS MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ WRITING ABILITY IN THE RECOUNT TEXT

Abstract

This study deals with effort of finding The Use of VoiceThread as Media to Improve Students’ Writing Ability in The Recount Text at the Tenth Grade of SMK N 1 Medan. The number of class consists 25 students. This study was conducted in two cycles and evey cycles consisted three meetings. To collect the data, the instruments of collecting data were used writing test (quantitative data) and observations, interview sheet (qualitative data). In analyzing data, the mean of the students score for the pre-test was 49,5 for the post test cycle 1 was 75.6 and for third post test cycle 2 was 80,0.Thus the result of finding that there is significant effect of using voicethread media on students’ achievement in writing recount text at the tenth grade of SMK N 1 Medan.
