THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE THIRD SEMESTER STUDENTS OF THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT OF UNIVERSITAS HKBP NOMMENSEN ON E-LEARNING IN WRITING NARRATIVE TEXT
Abstract
In this research, the writer focused on the perspective of the third semester students of the English Department of Universitas HKBP Nommensen on E-Learning media in writing narrative text. The objective of this study is to describe the perspective of the third semester students on E-Learning media in writing narrative text. The subject of this study is the third semester students of the English Department of Universitas HKBP Nommensen. This study was applied descriptive qualitative design. The data is students’ perspective in writing narrative text by using E-Learning. This study uses a questionnaire and interview instruments to collect data such as; (1) student response questionnaires; (2) interview guidelines to support the results of the student response questionnaire. The findings from the data analysis describe are four options of questionnaire namely on the first questionnaire, Strong Agree 30%, Agree

learning narrative text using E-Learning media make it easier for them to access the task of writing narrative text given by the lecturer, which is useful in helping the learning process of writing narrative text, students are also more effective in using time because they think it is more efficient. Students also find it easier to use features in e-Learning media that students use and students also want to continue using E-Learning media in the following semester because it is based on their learning experience in using E-Learning media.
