A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN EXTROVERT AND INTROVERT PERSONALITY ON SPEAKING ABILITY AT THE SECOND YEAR OF SMP NEGERI 3 PANCUR BATU

Abstract

This study is intended to find out A Comparative Study between Extrovert and Introvert Personality on Speaking Ability at the Second Year of SMP Negeri 3 Pancur Batu. The population of this study is the second year of SMP Negeri 3 Pancur Batu with six parallel classes, and there are 180 student totally. The sample of the research is two classes, that selected by using random sampling. The sample is divided into two class, the first class is 30 students, (Grade 8A) as the mawar class. The second class is 30 student, (Grade 8F) as the melati class. The instrument used for the collecting the dat a was questioner and speaking test, with the total number of questioner is 20 question. To live the speaking ability, this research uses speaking score of speaking for tutorial purposes. The entire of two samples don't seem to be same, From this research, the questionnaire shows observed is 76,71, while the speaking test is 75,76. Questionnaire is higher speaking test observed.
