An Analysis On Narrative Text Writing Of The Second Semester English Department Students Of FKIP Nommensen HKBP University

Abstract

The objective of this research are “To find the ability in writing narrative text at second semester Fkip English Department Nommensen HKBP University” . This research is using qualitative research. The source of the data was take form second semester students Fkip English Department to get the result students work,the writer asked students to write a narrative text. After that the writer collected and checked it the result of this study showed that the students are able to write narrative text. From 10 sample there were 8 students (80%) got score excellent and 2 students (20%) got score good. To get the result students work, the writer asked students to write a narrative text. After that the writer collected and checked it.the result of this study showed that the students are able to write narrative text. It can be seen from the median of students score which is higher that Nommensen Academic that is determined in the school (78,1>72).
