THE ANALYSIS OF IIIOCUTIONARY ACT USED BY THE MAIN CHARACTER IN BLACK SITE DELTA MOVIE
Abstract
Speech acts are utterances made by the speaker or the speaker or the speaker is carried out in every speech. Speech act study is very important to us. One of the importance of studying speech acts is so that we understand what messages are found in each speech. Speech acts are also determined by the speaker's language ability to convey messages in communication. This study investigates Acts' speech in the script for the film The black site Delta. This is to find out illocutionary acts based on categories and speech act strategies in the film script. According to Bach-ken, there are four types of illocutionary acts, namely: Constative, Directive, Commissive, Acknowledgment. Meanwhile, there are two types of speech act strategies, namely direct and indirect speech acts. This research is a library research with a qualitative approach. In this research data collection is carried out through documentation, documentation is a method used in scientific research to collect data using documents.The results of this study indicate that the writer found only four types of illocutionary in the film script. There are 44 Constative, 55 derictive, 16 commisive, and 12 Acknowledgments. However, the authors only analyzed 19 Constatives, 18 directives, 6 commissives, nd 8 Acknowledgments. And the writer analyzes the speech act strategy in the film script. Types of speech act strategies in film scripts. Types of speech act strategies are direct and indirect speech acts. In this study the authors found that there were 101 direct speech acts and 26 indirect speech acts. However, the author has only analyzed 45 direct speech acts and 5 indirect speech acts in the film script.
