    Abstract
    This thesis was a study about Improving Students’ Speaking Skill by Using Right Is Right Technique. This study was intended to find out whether Right Is Right Technique could improve significantly students’ speaking skill. Right Is Right Technique is one of speaking teaching technique which is done directly between teacher and student. By using a question and ask the students to answer the question completely. This study was conducted by using Classroom Action Research. The subject of this study was the third grade of SMA SWASTA HOSANA Medan. The sample of this study was XII IPA consisting 17 students. The technique of the analysis was quantitative. The instrument of this study was speaking test. The orientation test score was 54,8, in the test cycle I the mean score was 64,8 and the mean score in test cycle II was 73,2. Based on the data, it could be concluded that there was a significant improvement of students’ speaking skill by using Right Is Right Technique. These following suggestions are directed for the students of English Department, it was suggested to know or learn kinds of technique in teaching speaking.
