An Error Analysis of Pronoun on Students’ Writing Narrative Text for The Eighth Grade at SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bamban
Abstract
The objective of this research is to analyze the error of pronoun in writing narrative text for junior high school grade eight at SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bamban. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. The source of data was taken by narrative text for eight grade at SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bamban. There are made the narrative text by free of narrative text. The data will be analyzed by observation. To get the result of analyzed writing text by pronoun, the writer should finding some error in writing narrative text, breaking the word, identifying the pronoun of narrative text, classifying the types of error into the table. The result of this study shows that Omission, Addition, Misformation, and Misordering at junior high school still make the error of pronoun in writing narrative text. But, more dominant error of pronoun in writing narrative text is Misformation. It can be seen from the data which has been analyzed..
