    Grammatical Errors Used By Students In Writing Advertisements At The Third Grade Of Junior High School

    Abstract
    This study focused on analysis students error in writing advertisement at the third grade of junior high school. This study is aimed to obtain and to identify error made by the students in writing advertisement. This study was conducted in Descriptive Qualitative research. The population of this study was was the Third Grade students of SMP Negeri 28 Medan. There were forty students of the third grade senior high school students as the sample of this research. This study was conducted with twelve questions from the writer. This study showed that the students made so many error based on kinds of error word usage, punctuation, sentence structure, and grammar when did the test. From the analyzing the writer found that the dominant error that students made was in word usage with 20 errors, it is followed by grammar with 19 error, then punctuation with 15 error. Therefore, the English teacher hopefully can motivate the students and teach the students more about grammatical in writing advertisement.
