dc.description.abstractThis study aims to find out the types of speech act strategies uploaded on one of Viva.co.id Youtube accounts. In addition, after conducting research, researchers want to conclude several points to answer the research problem. From the data above, researcher found that strategy indirect speech acts were dominant used by Joko Widodo who is uplod on the Viva.co.ic Youtube account. The data above states that there are many direct speech action strategy data 14 times, with problem statements 34.2%, expression disapproval 2.85%, difficulty statements 34.2%. Indirect speech action strategies include pointing to standards data 7 times, requests for change data 10 times, expression of uncertainty data 1 times, suggestions about change data 2 times, requesting or procuring data 1 times. Meanwhile, direct speech actions are rarely used by Joko Widodo which is uploaded on one of the Youtube Viva.co.id accounts. Researcher concluded that Joko Widodo mostly uses indirect speech act strategies. It was found in 21 cases Indirect speech action strategies include pointing to standards data 7 times, requests for change data 10 times, expression of uncertainty data 1 times, suggestions about change data 2 times, requesting or procuring data 1 times.en_US
