An Analysis of Register Language in “Layangan Putus” Web Series Script.

Abstract

This research discussed about register language in the conversation on “Layangan Putus” web series. The purpose of this research described the types of the register contained in the conversation on “Layangan Putus” web series. This research used qualitative method. Data was collected by transcript and classified the data. The utterances of “Layangan Putus” web serie script were the data in the research. This research showed that there were 3 types of register have found in the conversation on “Layangan Putus”. They are oratorical or frozen, deliberative or formal, and consultative or business. The most dominant type was consultative or business in percentage 95.1%.
