| dc.description.abstract | This thesis is entitled An Analysis Of The Differences In Language Style Between Atta Halilintar And Ria Ricis. The purpose of this study is to identify the type of language style used by atta halilintar and ria ricis and which is more dominantly used by them. Discourse analysis which is included in the qualitative research was carried out by the author to conduct this study. The data of this thesis is the result of identifying and classifying language styles in the transcripts of Atta Halilintar and Ria Ricis youtube videos. The author used the theory of Gorys Keraf to classify the use of language styles used by youtubers. This study concludes that almost all types of figurative language in the gorys keraf theory are used by Atta Halilintar and Ria Ricis. The results obtained from identifying are 67 language style data. The research findings were then classified according to gorys keraf (2006; 130-145); simile style has four (4), metaphor (4), personification (2), metonymy (1) , inuendo(1 ), paradox(6), hyperbole(20), correction(5), prolepsis(15), litotes( 4), euphemism(4). The more dominant language styles used are prolepsis (Atta Halilintar) and hyperbole (Ria Ricis). | en_US |
