dc.description.abstract | This thesis is about The Effect of Using Genshin Impact Application into Students’ Vocabulary Mastery by the Second Grade Students of SMP GKPI Padang Bulan. The objective of the study is to find out if the use of Genshin Impact Application has a significant impact on student’s vocabulary mastery. The research design for this study was experimental quantitative that was completed at the second grade of SMP GKPI Padang Bulan, Medan Padang Bulan, North Sumatera and involved two groups include VIII - 1 as the experimental group and VIII - 2 as the control group with two different techniques: The experimental group will be taught using the genshin impact application in English and taught about vocabulary tests and the control group will be given instructions on how to use the genshin impact application in English. The totals of participants were 40 students. The experimental group consisted of 20 students and the control group consisted of 20 students. The data of this study were taken from vocabulary test in form of 20 multiple choices. The test was given in pre-test and post-test for both experimental group and control group. The results of this study showed that the mean score of experimental groups in pre-test was 63,5 and post-test was 79,5. Meanwhile the mean score of control group in pre-test was 57,25 and post-test was 69,75. The result of testing hypothesis showed that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected because tcount > ttable = 1,837 > 1,686 (5%). It means that Genshin Impact Application is recommended in students’ vocabulary mastery at the second grade of Junior High School because it is above of KKM (75). | en_US |
