dc.description.abstractPodcast is a digital media which is recording which contains record audio, video , animation or audio visual, wether it’s from radio, television, interviews or much more. This research aims to find out wether the Podcast significantly improve the English learners’ pronunciation. Class XI-IPA 2 was chosen as the sample of this research with total 30 students. This research use Classroom Action Research Design which consist of 2 cycle. In this design consist of pre-test and post-test each cycle to know the score of students. This test are provided in the form of oral test and calculated by using statistical formulas. From the test done showed that the score of post test in cycle 2 was higher then post test cycle 1 and pre test cycle 2. The result showed that there was a significant improvement of the students’ pronunciation skill after undertaking treatments. The students’ naturalness, word stress, and intonation in Pronunciation improve, and the students interested in joining pronunciation class when the teacher applied Podcast. The mean score range from pre observation test is 63,4, from pre-test 70,21 and from the post test 75,6, and the post test cycle 2 is 78,25 by the percentage of the successful students were 93%. Podcast media can be used as one of the alternative media in teaching English especially pronunciation skill in classroom.en_US
