dc.description.abstract | This thesis is a study about An Analysis Verbal And Non Verbal Communications Through Online Teaching And Learning Process Between Teacher And Tenth Grade Students AtSMA Advent Medan. The objectives of this study to describe verbal and non-verbal communications in online teaching and learning process between teacher and tenth grade students at SMA Advent Medan. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative reseach. The instrument of collecting data is observation and interview. The data is verbal and non verbal communication . the subject of this study is teacher and students.The research focused zoom video that was analyzed by writers, and the object of this research were conducted to Miss Citra Tumanggor . the data analysed verbal communication use theory Desak Putu (2016) into five types, they are: clear and concise, vocabulary, connotative and denotative, intonation, humor. Non verbal comunication by theory Brown, they are: facial expression, eye movement, gesture, posture, eye contact. The result after observing the zoom video, the writer found 7 data based of teacher from types of verbal communication, they are : clear and concise 3 data (42%), vocabulary 1 data (15%), conotative and denotative 0 data, intonation 2 (28%) and humor found 1 data (15%). For non verbal communication the writer found 9 data based of the teacher they are: facial expression 3 data (50%), eye movement (16%) and data gesture 2 data (33%). The result of student interviews about teachers in online teaching and learning process is that the teacher uses verbal and non-verbal communication. students think they are not too interested in the communication, it all depends on the teacher, students are able to follow if the teacher is ready to do learning. based conclusion that 13 data found analyzed verbal and non verbal communications through online teaching and learning process between teacher and tenth grade students at SMA Adevent Medan. | en_US |
