dc.description.abstractIt is widely accepted that in the teaching and learning process, textbooks play an important role, because it provides a guide or a road map for the teachers and learners. An analysis to a textbook is needed, moreover after the new curriculum was launched. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the feasibility of content of the K-13 textbook “English on Sky” based on the rubric assessment from BSNP. This study used descriptive with qualitative approach. The instrument used to collect the data is observation. The data is taken from the textbook “English on Sky”. In the data analysis technique, the percentage of criteria fulfillment was calculated by dividing the total of criteria points which were met in a textbook for each sub aspects with the total of criteria points in each sub aspect. The result of this research shows that 64% materials in English textbook fulfill the feasibility of content requirement from BSNP and generally categorized as a “Good” textbook. From 81 categories there are 52 categories on feasibility of content have fulfilled or met the perfect score 4; 19 categories got score 3; 8 categories got score 2; and 2 categories earned a score of 1. From the finding above, it can be concluded that textbook is still suitable to be used in order to help the teaching learning process in the classroom.en_US
