dc.description.abstractThe COVID-19 pandemic situation made the Government announce the learning activities into online learning or study at home. This policy and its relation to teachers’ creativity in teaching are interesting to be studied. This research focused on the teachers’ creativity used in the covid-19 pandemic learning process. This study aimed at answering the following research questions: (1) What are the teachers’ creativity in Covid-19 Pandemic Learning Process at SMP and SMA HKBP Sidorame Medan? (2) To What extent does creativity help the teachers in Covid-19 Pandemic Learning Process at SMP and SMA HKBP Sidorame Medan? This type of research was field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and interview. The results of the study show that (1) teachers use technology as a medium in the covid-19 pandemic learning process. They used Applications to reach the goals of the study. There were the applications: WhatsApp, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom. Sometimes they used PowerPoint to explain their material. They managed their class from their Applications. They also try to find new ways for the best result of the learning process. But both of them use the video-based learning model and also virtual education through WhatsApp. (2) Creativity in the Covid-19 pandemic learning process greatly assisted teachers in the teaching and learning process to achieve learning goals.en_US
