| dc.description.abstract | This research discussed about An Analysis of style in the conversation on “Imperfect” film. The purpose of this research is to describe the types of the register contained in the conversation on “ Imperfect” movies. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection techniques collected by download and watched the movie transcribed the communication , analyzed the conversation of the movie script for transcribing the data, and identified the utterances that contained types of register on the movie script. The data is the utterances of “Imperfect” movie script. This research used Martin joss theory about the types of the register and Jacobson’s theory about the function of language register in the conversation of imperfect movies. This research showed that there were 4 types of register that found in the conversation on imperfect movie’s. Those are deliberative , consultative, casual and intimate register.
