dc.description.abstractThe Objective of this research is to know whether Snowball Mapping Technique can enrich students’ vocabulary. The research design is used in this research is classroom action research. The source of the data is vocabulary test. The data was collected from student eight grade Smp Swasta HKBP Ambarita. The finding of the study showed that the writer found out that the students’ vocabulary score significantly enrich the students’ vocabulary achievement. The students’ vocabulary achievement increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. It was prove by the mean score of the last test 86,75 was higher than the mean score of the orientation test 72,25. It means that there was enrichment by Snowball Mapping Technique. The enrichment also was supported by quantitative data the improving students’ vocabulary achievement through Snowball Mapping Technique. It is found that the score get improved from the orientation test to second test continuously. Therefore, Snowball Mapping Technique significantly enrich students’ vocabulary achievement . Second the questionnaire result showed that the implementation of this technique got positive responses from the students in the teaching-learning process of vocabulary, it could be seen from the mean of pre-questionnaire was 43,5%. Then, the mean of post-questionnaire was 63,00%.en_US
