dc.description.abstract | This research used descriptive qualitative method, the subject of the research was the fourth semesters students on English department of nommensen HKBP university. While the object is 15 students group A 2019/2020. In technique of collecting data the writer used writing test and observation. This research intended (1) To find out the types of error analysis based on strategy taxonomy, (2) To identify the dominant types of error analysis based on strategy taxonomy. The writer analyzed the error by using surface strategy taxonomy, surface strategy taxonomy divide into four types they are omission, addition, misformation and misordering. After analyzing the data, the writer found that there are 80 items of error. It happened because most of the students low in grammar and also they confused how to used grammar correctly. The proposition of the students make spoof text are misformation error 38 items or 47,5%, omission error 31 items or 38,75%, misordering error 7 items or 8,75% and the last addition 4 items or 5 %. Therefore the result of the research show that error of misformation are the highest error that made by the students, automatically error of misformation is the dominant types of error based on surface strategy taxonomy. | en_US |
