dc.description.abstract | This research aims to find out the effect on students’ writing skill by using Give One and Take One technique . The research design of this study experimental quantitative. The eight grade students in Sialang Buah were chosen as the sample of this study with total number of 20 students. The experimental and control class employed pre-test and post-test .These tests proved in the form writing test . The data on the tests were calculated by using t-test formula. The result showed that the post-test score was higher than the pre-test . The finding showed that there was an effect significantly on the students’s writing skill after treatment . There was an enhancement of the students’s number score. The mean score of the experimental class range from the pre-test was 55,4 and the post-test 80,8 and for the control class the mean score pre-test was 47,8 and from the post-test was 60,9. The data analysis showed that t-test was 4,366 and t-table at significant level of α = 0,05 was 1,734. Thus , the data can be stated that t-test was higher than tobservation (4,366) > ttable (1,734) . The data showed that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted . This means that use of Give One and Take One Technique can be used as one of the technique to teaching English , especially for writing skills. | en_US |
