dc.description.abstract | This study aims to identify and describetranslation techniques, methods, and ideologies. This researchis a descriptive, qualitative fixed research for a single case. This researchn consists of 2 types of data sources. The first data source isdocuments in the form of subtitles and translated products as sourcesobjective data. The second data source, obtained from informants who gaveinformation regarding the accuracy of the translation resultsas affective data. Data collection is done through identification techniques with document review. The selection of data samples was done by using purposive sampling technique.The results showed that there were 9 types of translation techniquesof the 18 techniques used by the translator in data. Based onthe frequency of use of these techniques is:Literal translation (22,413%), adaptatio (5,172%), amplification (13,793%), calque (8,620%),compensation (5,172%),establishes (10,344%), liguistic compression (10,344%),linguistic amplification (12,068%), modulation (12,068%).Based on the predominantly emerging techniques, this book tends tousing the literal translation method with the ideology of foreignization. | en_US |
