dc.description.abstractThis thesis is about The Effect of Using Circuit Learning Model in Teaching Writing Descriptive Text at SMP Swasta Advent 1 Medan Grade Eight. The object of this study is to find out whether by using Circuit Learning Model significantly affect the students writing Descriptive text or not. The subject of this study is eight grade students at SMP Swasta Advent 1 Medan. The sample is consisted of 50 students. The data collection was done by administering pre-test and post-test. The study uses quantitative approach by using experimental quantitative of the study. In the data analysis, paired sample T-test was used to prove the hypothesis. Based on the data genuine, it was found that the mean scores of the pre- test was 50.48 while the mean score of the post-test was 82.2. It means that there was significant difference between pre-test and post-test, t (df = 48) = 2,021 it was lower than 0,05. It means that the alternative hypothesis was accepted which indicates that by using Circuit Learning Model was significantly effective in the teaching writing descriptive text. Additionally, the result of this study shows that by using Circuit Learning Model has a good writing descriptive text. Thus, it is strongly suggested that teachers apply this method to help improve writing descriptive text of the student.en_US
