dc.description.abstractThis resarch entitled Dysphemistic Language Analysis: Case Study of Sulli’s Instagram Bullying. The aims of this study are to find the types of dysphemism and the purposes of the used by nitizen.This research used qualitative descriptive approach and the data were taken from the comments text of the nitizens in Sulli’s Instagram. The data of thisstudy derived from identify and classify the types of dysphemis and thepurposes. Allan and Burridge’s theory is used to find the types and the purposes of the uses of dysphemism. The result showed that therewere identified 150 dysphemism data found from 200 comments. The finding of the research then clasified to Allan, K., & Burridge, K. (2001); Synecdoche, Euphemistic Epithet, Euphemistic Dysphemism, Dysphemistic Euphemism,“ist-”Dysphemism, Name Dysphemism, Cross Cultural Dysphemism and Homosexuality Dysphemism. The finding of this research were found number of Name Dysphemism 50 , Dysphemistic Epithet 44, Dysphemistic Euphemism 32 , Homosexuality Dysphemism 15 , the fourth place occupied by Euphemistic Dysphemism 15, and the last is Synecdoche 1 and Cross-Cultural Dysphemism 1.en_US
