dc.description.abstractThis study attempts to improve students’ reading comprehension by using OK5R Strategy. This study was conducted by using classroom action research . The subject of this research was class teknik Pemesinan ( TPM )2 at SMKN 5 MEDANwhich consisted of 20 Students. This research was conducted in two cycles . First cycle and the second cycle consist two meetings. The Insturment of Collecting Data were quantitative data ( reading Comprehension test ) and qualitative data ( observation sheet and questionnaire sheet ). Based on reading comprehension scores, students’ score kept improving in every reading comprehension test. In pre – test the writer got lowest score was 42, 5 . In the Post – test cycle I the writer got lowest score was 76, 25 and the post- test cycle II the writer got highest score was 82,25 . The result of the research showed that OK5R Strategy significantly improved students ’reading comprehensionen_US
