dc.description.abstractThis thesis was about error analysis of using adjective in writing descriptive text. The objective of the study was finding out the students’ error in using adjective in writing descriptive text of the second grade students of SMP N 1 Parbuluan. The study used descriptive qualitative method. The result of the study showed that there were four types of error found in the students’ writing test. They Addition, Error of Omission, Error of Misformation, Error of Misordering. 6 errors (5,40%) in the error of Omission, 5 errors (4,50%) in the error of addition, 19 errors (17,11%) in the error of misformation, and 81 errors (72,97%) in the error of misordering. From the four types of error, the writer found that the students’ error mostly made was error of misordering. It reached 81 errors from 111 errors in total.en_US
