dc.description.abstractThis study is attempts to improve students’ reading comprehension by using Give One Get One Strategy. This study was conducted by using experimental research. The subject in this research was class VIII A&B SMP SWASTA METHODIST 7 MEDAN which consisted of 30 students. The writer calculating the data of the students’ and found that applying Give One Get One Strategy learning get score 83,1 is higher than mean score of students who were taught without applying Give One Get One Strategy get score 75. From the data analysis by using the t-observe (2,1) is higher than t-table (1,67) at the level of the significance of (0,06). It means that alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, there is effect of using the Give One Get One Strategy towards students’ reading comprehension at the eighth grade at SMP SWASTA METHODIST 7 Medan.en_US
