dc.description.abstract | This thesis is written to achieve two objectives, namely to find out the type pf error and the dominant errors made by the students in thier written Recount text them. The method which is used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The research was carried out at SMP N 1 Labuhan Deli, on July 26th, 2019. The sample of the research is students of the nine grade consists of 28 students. to get the data, the writer used a documentation as the intsrument. From the conclulation of errors, there are 167 errors which were made by the students in produncing tenses in writing recount text and they’re classified into four types. They are omission 72 errors (43,11%) , addition 26 error 15,58%), misfomation 54 error (32,335) and misordering 15 error (8,98%). After the conclulation of error from Omission, Addition, Misiformation and Misordering, From the four types of error, ommision errors (43,11%) is an error that is often done by students or the most dominant of the four types of errors. | en_US |
